​​How do I request a home visit?

We have friendly expert opticians that cover Devon and Cornwall. Simply call your local branch to arrange a visit.

​HOW MUCH WILL AN EYE EXAMINATION COST?

If you meet the criteria for a NHS eye examination in your home, your eye examination will be free of charge. If you do not, we are still able to offer an eye examination in your home privately.

Who will visit me?

​You will be visited by a fully qualified Optometrist. We are fully registered and qualified under the General Optical Council and Association of Optometrists.

Will I still receive the same level of care as I would in a high street optician?

Absolutely, yes

What else will the mobile optician check for during a home eye test?

As well as assessing your vision and prescribing glasses, your optometrist will examine the health of your eyes. This includes looking for Cataracts, Glaucoma, Diabetes, Macular Degeneration and many others.

Do I have a choice of glasses and frames?

​Yes – we carry a very broad range of spectacle frames to cater for every taste and budget. Your optometrist will explain which would suit your needs best and have plenty for you to choose from. Unlike many other providers, we are not restricted from whom we supply spectacles, which allows us to offer you plenty of choice from multiple suppliers.

How long will I have to wait for my glasses?

We pride ourselves on our strong after sales service. We therefore endeavour to deliver and fit your glasses personally, to ensure they are comfortable as soon as possible. Our average time is 2 weeks

Will my glasses be guaranteed?

All our frames and lenses are guaranteed against defective manufacture for 12 months. Should any of our glasses need repairing (subject to normal use) we’ll repair them free of charge.
